Played an active role in fostering the existing health policy and promote the effective implementation of Primary Health Care strategy component. Responsible for strengthening team approach to facilitate self-reliance and maintain sustainability of programs.

August 1998 - Nov. 1998. Project Director SisterCare Early Intervention Program for women with HIV/AIDS. Designed early intervention program for HIV/AIDS women residing in Alameda county Oakland. The project provided an early and well-coordinated system of care that is culturally relevant, planned and provided by professionals with client involvement to address the medical and psychosocial needs of women at the early stages of the disease process. Responsibilities included medical case management, program design, management, supervision, quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation.
Dec. 1996 – Nov. 1998. Project Evaluator: Bay Area Black Consortium for Quality Health Care, Inc. Oakland, California
Evaluated the federally funded Oakland Healthy Start Project that focuses on reduction of infant mortality rate in Alameda County, California
April 1996 – Feb. 1998 Project Evaluator Children’s Hospital Oakland, California. Designed information management systems, quality assurance, medical recording and evaluation for the California Children Services Pilot Project for children with special needs. Facilitated a ten county online medical information exchange systems among hospitals and county health departments.
Dec. 1994 - April 1996 Health Service Consultant Alameda County Department of Public Health, Oakland, California Overlooked the data management, analysis and reporting of data on Women and Infant Demonstration Project, Oakland California. Involved in development of survey instruments, data collection, data management, statistical analysis using SPSS statistical software and reporting of findings. Women and Infant Demonstration Project was a CDC funded nationwide project for women at risk of HIV/AIDS. The project focused on behavior modification to combat the spread of the disease among high-risk women.
